What is Interdisciplinary Studies?
Interdisciplinary Studies is the combination of multiple academic disciplines. Currently the world has a problem with being able to combine different disciplines to create a more accurate view on problems. Interdisciplinary Studies tries to fix said problem by opening the mind to the different views of the disciplines selected by the student, creating a more complete picture of the world.

Professional Statement
Through my major concentrations in computational sciences and communication I have been able to focus on the statistics, analytics, and overall mathematics behind practical applications. I have learned social media management, analysis behind marketing, and the development of effective profiles and brands. That practical work along with my minor studies and experience within technological entrepreneurship contribute to my well-rounded skill sets. I am comfortable viewing data and math and communicating the meaning in an easily understandable manner. As a result I am able to use the data to foresee business outcomes from sales to company efficiency.
I have a proven record of being a motivated self-starter and skilled critical thinker. I enjoy problem solving as an individual or as part of a team. My background in interdisciplinary studies also helps with my team skills by allowing me to understand and take into consideration different views from each discipline. The skills I have acquired allow me to help push the team forward and complete common goals.
